Why the crowned board matters
Wire cheese cutters often leave an incomplete cut because the wire flexes in the middle. This board is crowned at the center to follow that flex, so each slice cuts cleanly all the way through.

The slicer
The fiddle bow-shaped body is made from thin, bent layers of select hardwoods. This construction gives it exceptional strength and keeps the stainless steel wire spring-loaded and taut.
