Handmade Walnut Maple Spurtle Set: Traditional Scottish Kitchen Utensils
**Wooden Spurtle (Flat)**
A Scottish kitchen tool dating to the 15th century, the flat spurtle is still a kitchen mainstay today. Stir oatmeal, porridge, and soups — or use it as a small spatula to flip oatcakes and scrape heavy broths from the bottom of the pot.
Three designs, each 2" wide, with our signature walnut handle and maple pegs:
- **12" Short Spatula** — thin edge for scooping under food
- **13½" Angled End** — reaches into the inside corners of pots
- **13½" Rounded, Slotted End** — paddle portion drains liquid as you stir
Sold individually or in a set of three.
Purchase one of each and save.
Handmade in our small family shop in Berea, Kentucky.
