Rolling Pin - Dough Thickness Controller
The controller design allows you to control the thickness of your dough perfectly, every time. Available for three dough thicknesses, 1/4" for thick dough such as cookie dough, 1/8" for all those pie crusts or fondant, and 1/16" for those tortillas and dumplings. These pins will make your bakery goods have a look of a master baker. Each pin has nice-looking, ergonomic handles for a good feel and added control.


Measurements

We have three lengths, 23 1/2 with a 16 1/2 roll out area, 19 1/2 with a 12" roll out area, and the 15" with an 8 1/4" roll out area. These three lengths can come with any of the three recesses, 1/16, 1/8, and 1/4. So when ordering, in the ordering drop down, you choose the wood, the length, and the recess. The large diameter next to the handle on all pins range from 1.750 to1.900 in diameter.

  • 15 1/2" long has a rollout area of 8 1/4". 
  • 19 1/2" long has a rollout area of 12".
  • 23 1/2" long has a rollout area of 16 1/2".                                                              All three lengths are offered in three dough thicknesses, 1/16", 1/8", and 1/4".

You need a rolling surface at least 4-6 inches bigger than the rollout area of these pins. If you plan to use it on a board, check your board dimensions. When ordering, go by the rollout area required, not the total length of the pin.

Product Details

This rolling pin design is offered in three hardwoods, hard maple, cherry, and bubinga (African Rosewood). The bubinga is the heaviest in weight of the three kinds of wood. They are finished with a food-grade mineral oil finish, wash with warm water, and wipe dry. Maintain its beauty for years to come with a coat of mineral oil a few times a year. Each pin comes with care instructions and a sanding sponge.
